The PC-7 Team is an aerobatics team of the Swiss Air Force. It derives its name from the airplanes used, nine Pilatus PC-7 trainers.
This illustration was started 2 m onths prior to their participation at the local airshow. Having photographed this neat airplane a few years before, allowed me to have all the close-ups, angles & detailed shots required to start drawing.
The basic parts (aileron, wing, rudder, fuselage), as well as the markings, were done in Adobe Illustrator. The second stage involves transfering all shapes in Adobe Photoshop and creating the shadows and highlights.
Like all aviation profiles, I took my time to research and make sure that all details were spot-on.
