March 2016

My first attempt in Food Photography has been an overall positive one. With no time to prepare a lighting setup or at least a tripod, I relied on daylight, long shutter speed, wide lens aperture, ISO and...a steady hand. The quicker I got the shots as soon after the food left the station, the better the result. I also realised that staying low and close, helps in getting better angles....and of course, taking in consideration the famous rule of thirds...

I look forward to another practice session, next time hopefully having my lighting equipment!
